Meditation is the intentional quieting of the mind via focusing on something such as the breath, an object, a mantra, the heart center
or the third eye chakra (point between the eyebrows). When one meditates, the body goes into a state of healing and deep relaxation
similar to deep sleep. The intent of meditation is to train the mind to experience the present moment rather than obsessing over repetitive
thoughts, memories or judgements. There are several wonderful forms of meditation to choose from.
